TV presenter Erin Jayne Plummer, best known for hosting infomercials on Studio 10 and the TVSN shopping channel, died “suddenly” over the weekend at the age of 42.
Studio 10 hosts Sarah Harris and Angela Bishop announced her death on Monday’s show, describing Erin as a “beautiful human inside and out” and a “gold medal winning mother”. for his children.
She is survived by her husband and three daughters. His cause of death is unknown.

Erin was also a presenter for Aerobics Oz Style for six years. The instructional aerobics television series, which aired from 1982 to 2005, had a global audience of 40 million at its peak and was broadcast in more than 80 countries.
In addition to her television career, Erin was an accomplished synchronized swimmer who represented Australia at three world championships and won 11 national titles.
She was thrust into the limelight at a young age when she was spotted at Manly Beach in Sydney and featured in a tourist campaign that aired on NBC in America.

Familiar face: Erin was also a presenter for Aerobics Oz Style for six years. The instructional aerobics television series, which aired from 1982 to 2005, had a global audience of 40 million at its peak and was broadcast in more than 80 countries.
But it was her role as a professional spruiker that she was best known for.
During her career as an infomercial host, she appeared on Studio 10, TVSN, Mornings with Kerri-Anne and The Morning Show, and earned the nickname “The Danoz Girl”.
Over the years, she’s promoted everything from massage chairs and workout routines to slimming jeans and steam mops.
When not in front of the camera, Erin has also done countless voiceovers for television.

Announcing Erin’s death on Monday, a somber Sarah Harris said: ‘We have some very sad news to share this morning.
“Over the weekend, Studio 10 lost some of its shine with the sudden passing of our friend and infomercial host Erin Jayne.
“For two decades Erin was a friendly, familiar face on Australian TV, and for much of that she brightened up our mornings with her bubbly personality and megawatt smile.

“She represented Australia in synchronized swimming and even surf lifesaving, and there’s no doubt that Erin Jayne was a top performer, and certainly a gold medal winning mother to her three young daughters.”
She concluded, “We will miss your sunshine around the studio, Erin Jayne, and all of us here send much love and strength to her family.” We will miss you very much.

Reflecting on her years on Aerobics Oz Style in a previous appearance on Studio 10, Erin Jayne said the program appealed to global audiences because of Australia’s “beautiful” weather and scenery on display.
She said: ‘He [aired] in more than 80 countries. For those people who wake up in England on a freezing morning and see Australia’s beautiful landscapes and beaches, I think this is a great way to start the day.
Former Studio 10 executive producer Rob McKnight told Daily Mail Australia he was “shocked” to hear of Erin’s sudden death.

“I’ve worked with Erin many times over my years at Studio 10 and The Morning Show. She was always professional and a pleasure to deal with. She took the job seriously and always wanted to do its best for the client,” McKnight said.
“A lot of people underestimate the role of commercial entertainers, but Erin was versatile and always invested in what she was selling – and her smile was simply infectious.
“I am very sad to hear this news and send my love to her family, friends and everyone who has worked with her.”
