Channel 10 FINALLY announces the three guys who will appear in The Bachelor

Channel 10 has finally confirmed rumors that this year’s season of The single person will feature not one, but three contenders.

Official confirmation came via The Project on Monday night, with Bachelor host Osher Gunsberg revealing that three men will be looking for love on the show.

Drummer Jed McIntosh is locked up to appear on the reality show alongside professional basketball player Felix Von Hofe and life coach Thomas Malucelli.

‘We are so excited. We are making a world first. Nobody in the world has ever had three singles, and so the way it works, the way everyone gets to know each other is very different this year,” Osher said.

‘It’s already fascinating. We’ve been going there for a while now and it’s already electrifying what we see.

“Not only do we go to headquarters to say if we can have three singles, we want to do it without candles and without garlands, it’s a meeting that had to be passed!”

“No one in the world has ever had three bachelors, and so the way it works, the way everyone gets to know each other is very different this year,” Osher said.

According to the music website Big Sound PercussionJed is the drummer for Melbourne-based alternative pop band Mood Monroe.

He started playing drums when he was just four years old and began playing professionally at age 13.

Jed started filming at the age of 16 and soon found himself in Los Angeles, working with a variety of rising stars.

The talented percussionist has also worked with a long list of top musicians, including Kylie Minogue, Pharrell Williams, T-Pain and Sean Paul.

His band, Mood Monroe, was featured on triple j unearthed in 2020, where their music was described as combining “punchy energetic productions with vulnerable storytelling, reminiscent of acts like Imagine Dragons and The Weeknd.”

Jed modestly joked with The Project that he had a lot to prove on the show.

“When you’re next to two of Australia’s biggest and handsomest guys, I have to pull something out of my pocket,” he said on Monday.

Not much else is known about Jed at this point, and his Instagram page is set to private, which is a requirement for all Bachelor stars.

Last week, Daily Mail Australia revealed that basketball player Felix and ‘transformation coach’ Thomas would both appear as suitors on this year’s season of The Bachelor.

Thomas is a former restaurant manager from Sydney, who has spent the past five years working as a fitness and life coach.

He told The Project that a lot of the fun so far has been getting to know other singles.

“I think we will get to know each other a little more. I expect him to get lost!’ he said.

Meanwhile, her partner Felix – who is 198cm tall – is from Melbourne and plays basketball for the Melbourne Tigers.

Felix told The Project on Monday that he wanted to try dating women on the show because he’s old fashioned.

“I wanted to jump here because I felt like maybe I was born 10 years too late,” he said.

Last year’s premiere episode of The Bachelor drew just 482,000 viewers, compared to the 2020 premiere, which drew 681,000 viewers.

Meanwhile, last year’s finale starring Jimmy Nicholson drew 629,000 viewers, while 879,000 viewers tuned in to Locky Gilbert’s 2020 season.

The Bachelorette did even worse, with last year’s finale with Brooke Blurton attracting the smallest audience since the show premiered in Australia.
