Married at first sight star Jackson Lonie broke his silence for the first time since he was caught kissing another woman behind his girlfriend Olivia Fraseris back.
The 31-year-old posted a video on instagram alongside Liv on Wednesday, saying he had “f—ed up” when he kissed TikTok star Han Hughes at a bar in Melbourne last week.
The couple also confirmed that they are staying together despite the recent scandal.

“I’m just taking a second to jump in here to talk about what happened last weekend,” Jackson began.
“It’s shit, I screwed up. All the negativity we had, the way I dealt with it was to get drunk – which isn’t wrong, is it? not an excuse.
“It’s not acceptable, it’s not the person I want to be. It’s not who I am.”
Jackson admitted he knew he had a problem and was trying to fix it.
“I’m looking for help to try to find new ways to fight my emotions and deal with this negativity,” he continued.
“It’s been shit, but I’m lucky to have Liv by my side and she’s been nothing but an angel through it all.”

Olivia smiled and said, “Aww, that’s good…”

“We’re sticking together. We’ve got a lot of healing to do, but ultimately we love each other and it’s not worth throwing it away.”
The comments section was flooded with well wishes from their friends, with The MAFS star Tamara Djordjevic writes: “I love you guys. What you have is really not worth throwing away.
“I think people need to understand that you’re still human and no one, unless they’ve been through half of what you’ve been through, would ever understand the strain that puts on people’s mental health and, in ultimately, on a relationship. Always have my support.”
“Stay strong. Time is the best healer!!” Carolina Santos, embroiled in her own infidelity scandal MAFS with Daniel Holmes, commented.
Daniel added, “I love you guys! You’ll come on even stronger.”
One fan commented, “Thought Olivia went overseas?”
Liv replied, “I tried but I tested positive for COVID at the airport. The universe said, ‘No, girl. Go home and deal with it.'”
On Friday night, Jackson was filmed locking lips with ICT Tac star Han Hughes, 20, at the Lava Lounge in Melbourne – just hours after Olivia went home to bed.
The kiss was captured on video and shared online via Facebook page Tea Time, which captioned it: “Are Jackson and Olivia still together or in an open relationship? I was sent a photo of him and my cousin in Lava last night.”
Han spoke about what happened during an interview on The Kyle and Jackie O Show this week.
When asked what she thought about Jackson being unfaithful to Olivia, she replied, “At the end of the day, it doesn’t matter how drunk you are.

“If you’re really secure in a relationship, you wouldn’t let anything or anyone get in there.”
She also said she was not responsible for what happened.
“I feel like no one deserves to be cheated on, and I feel bad that she was cheated on — absolutely,” she added.
“But I’m also in a state of mind that I didn’t know, and it’s not my responsibility to go to everyone I talk to in the bar to make sure they’re single.”
When asked what she would say to Olivia if given the chance, she said, “If she wants to talk about it and call me, I’d love to.
“She deserves to hear it from me, and I’ll let her. It’s the least she deserves after going through all this.”
