Chris Hemsworth lands in Sydney by private jet ahead of Spiderhead premiere

Star of Thor Chris Hemsworth was spotted arriving in sydney via a private jet on Friday.

The 38-year-old cut a casual figure as he landed in the capital surrounded by his entourage.

Chris wore a suit bag and looked relaxed before walking the red carpet at the premiere of his new netflix movie, Spiderhead, in Sydney on Saturday.

The Byron Bay local looked casual but pleasant in a pair of black jeans, black star trainers and a black t-shirt and jacket.

Proving he’s not too chic to push and as down-to-earth as ever, the megastar pulled his own small suitcase off the jet, carried a backpack and carried his suit bag.

He appeared relaxed and in good spirits as he walked down the tarmac.

Chris and American actor Miles Teller, 35, star in the new Netflix sci-fi thriller Spiderhead which is due out June 17.

In Spiderhead, Chris trades Thor’s hammer for sharp suits and wire-rimmed glasses to play a sinister scientist.

A trailer for the futuristic sci-fi flick, which hits Netflix next week, shows the Marvel actor, 38, flexing his acting muscles as his creepy character tests mind-altering drugs on convicts at a compound state-of-the-art prison.

Prisoners volunteered as medical subjects in order to shorten their sentences.

Written by Deadpool’s Rheet Reese and Paul Wernick, the film is based on George Saunders’ 2010 short story Escape from Spiderhead.

Earlier this month, Chris confirmed to fans that he was filming the highly anticipated Mad Max: Fury Road prequel, titled Furiosa, in Broken Hill, New South Wales.

“A new journey in the Mad Max saga begins,” captioned the Aussie actor, who uploaded a photo of a movie clapperboard being used on set.
