Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are in the ‘last chance lounge’ with the Royal Family and will be ‘cut off’ if they leak anything from Jubilee, a royal author has claimed.
The Duke, 37, and the Duchess of Sussex40, who currently lives in their $14 million mansion in California, flew in from the United States for the event last weekend but spent little time with the royal family.
Harry and Meghan did not spend private time with Prince WilliamKate, George, Charlotte and Louis during the Jubilee, when they weren’t allowed to bring a private photographer to the first meeting between the Queen and their daughter Lilibet.
The 96-year-old is said to have met Harry and Meghan’s daughter. However, they were reportedly told “no chance” of having an official photo as it was a “private family reunion”. Palace insiders may have feared that the photos taken by Harry and Meghan would be shared with television networks in the United States or in Harry’s upcoming memoir.
Royal biographer and journalist Duncan Larcombe has now said ‘the test begins now’ for the royal couple, telling Magazine closer: “If anything from the weekend leaks, I imagine they will be totally cut and that will be it.”
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are in the ‘last chance living room’ with the Royal Family and will be ‘cut off’ if they leak anything from Jubilee, says Duncan Larcombe
Elsewhere, Duncan explained: “They came to the UK and the Jubilee and cemented themselves as royals again, which is great for their brand and something Spotify, Netflix and Penguin will eat .”
He revealed how their “behaviour in the future” would dictate their future with the family.
Saying the Royal Family had ‘extended an olive branch’ to the couple during the Jubilee, he added: ‘Harry and Meghan would spoil this if any private information about this weekend was leaked to the press or revealed in a book. “
Duncan also said the Sussexes traveled to the UK to “fix fences” but ran into a “brick wall” with senior royals instead.
The Sussexes reportedly wanted their own photographer to capture the monarch meeting her great-granddaughter Lilibet in Windsor for the first time, but a source claimed they were told ‘no chance’ as it was a private moment.

The photographer has not been named – but it may be their friend Misan Harriman, who has photographed the Sussexes regularly and even takes credit for bringing them together in 2016. He also took the picture of their youngster girl on the lawn of Frogmore Cottage as she turned one on Saturday.
Lilibet met Her Majesty “on more than one occasion” and Prince Charles and Camilla also spent time with the couple before returning to California on Sunday, according to Harry and Meghan’s friend Omid Scobie.
However, Harry and Meghan did not spend private time with Prince William, Kate, George, Charlotte and Louis during the Jubilee, according to Page 6and it is unlikely that William’s family met Lilibet.
An insider said the brothers’ relationship remained “tense” after the Sussexes’ transatlantic “truth bombs” about the Royal Family on Oprah and Friendly Podcasts in the US.

And it has been claimed the Queen has banned Harry and Meghan from asking a photographer to capture the monarch meeting her great-granddaughter Lilibet for the first time.
Prince HarryAngela Levin’s biographer told GB News she had heard the streaming giant was desperate for the couple to get footage of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex with members of the royal family like the Queen and Prince William as part of the series they are shooting.
Speaking to GB News, Ms Levin said the image would have been ‘very, very valuable’, adding: ‘They would have used it for Netflix’. That would give them kudos for having her with her great-grandmother, you know.
It comes after experts said Prince Harry ‘must have gone home very depressed for what he gave up’ after he and Meghan Markle decided not to be more visible in the Queenit is Platinum Jubilee celebrations because “they didn’t have center stage seats.
Vanity Fair’s Katie Nicholl told True Royalty TV’s The Royal Beat that the Duke and Duchess weren’t at any other celebrations over the Jubilee weekend because “they didn’t have seats in the center from the scene”.
Earlier this week, Vanity Fair’s Katie Nicholl (pictured) told True Royalty TV’s The Royal Beat that Meghan and Harry weren’t at the Jubilee celebrations because they “didn’t have seats in the middle of the stage”.
Meanwhile, historian Hugo Vickers added: “Harry gave up being captain of the Royal Marines, who were in force.” I think he must have gone home feeling very depressed for what he gave up.
Katie said: “I honestly think it’s [because]…they knew they wouldn’t be number one.
“And why did they leave the royal family? They left because they weren’t in the front row. I believe that’s why they weren’t at the other celebrations because they didn’t have center stage seats.
Elsewhere, Duncan said the Platinum Jubilee celebrations haunted Prince Harry for the rest of his life as he and his family were relegated to minor roles and opted out of certain events.
He said: “These four days will haunt Prince Harry for the rest of his life.” They [The Duke and Duchess of Sussex] were relegated to sit behind the Duke of Gloucester [at the Thanksgiving service].

Discussing the key images from the celebration, Katie told the programme: “If you’re going to pull an image from the weekend, it has to be [the one of the Queen and her three heirs standing on the Buckingham Palace balcony] (Photo)
‘They did not participate in any visible way, shape or form in the Color Parade… [Harry] will be furious at the way he and his family have been treated – if it was Prince William and the Royal Family who said ‘you don’t come to the royal box’, while other minor Royals who don’t not work were at these events. ”

“A Jubilee is not just a time to reflect on 70 years, but to look forward. The Queen’s message is very clear, this is the future and for the first time in history we have four generations of royals.
‘It’s extraordinary. Moreover, it was deliberately designed. If you watch the footage from this, Camilla steps aside, while Kate takes the two youngest children and leaves the Queen with her three heirs.
