MagEZ Slider Review – There are literally tons of charging devices on the market and are now mostly wireless, thanks to Apple MagSafe technology. Being able to smash your devices safely and easily is a boon and certainly makes your charging life easier.
But as an iPhone user, you may also have other Apple devices like an Apple Watch and Apple AirPods. Many manufacturers have released a desktop solution to charge all three simultaneously, but most of them are bulky or just don’t look so good aesthetically.
But this PITAKA MagEZ Slider is different. Not only can you charge your iPhone, Apple Watch (with an additional accessory), and AirPods at the same time on your desk, but you can also convert this desktop charger into a portable power bank. And it is compact and aesthetic.

MagEZ Slider Review – Design and Features
The MagEZ Slider generally consists of two parts: the wireless charger desktop unit (I’ll call it the docking station) and the MagSafe power pack (like a portable power bank). To charge your phone on the desk, you must first insert the MagSafe power supply into the dock (USB-C connectors). You can then magnetically place your MagSafe-supported iPhone over the entire device or, to be exact, over the MagSafe power pad.
Why all this hassle? Because you can actually remove the power bank part from the docking station on the go. This way you can keep charging your phone even when you’re away from home. Thanks to MagSafe support, the power bank magnetically attaches to the back of your iPhone (there’s a little hidden power button you need to press before you start charging). And when you get home later, just put the power bank back in the docking station. Pretty nifty. You can’t see how much battery you have left because there are no LED indicators on the power bank.
The MagEZ Slider actually charges your iPhone AND the power bank simultaneously, which makes it really efficient because you don’t waste time trying to fully charge your iPhone and the power bank.
What is the battery size? According to PITAKA, the MagEZ Slider power bank has a battery capacity of 4000mAh, which is actually a sweet spot for me. I have a couple of 10,000mAh power banks at home and although they hold a lot of juice, they are quite bulky to carry around and I have generally only found the need to charge my iPhone once outside. ‘outside. The iPhone 13 Pro has a 3095mAh battery, which means you can fully charge your iPhone 13 Pro once – and then some more.
As for the power inputs and outputs, here are the specifications of the MagEZ Slider:
- Power Type-C port input: DC9V/2.22A
- Type-C port output: DC 5V/2A
- Power bank port C input (during wireless charging): DC 5V/2A
- Power Bank Port C Input/Output: DC 5V/1.5A
- Type-C port for dongle output: DC 5V/1A
- Wireless Output: 5W
- AirPods wireless output: 5W
Unfortunately, you won’t be able to get that 15W of MagSafe fast charging on the MagEZ Slider, but if versatility is more important to you, it’s still a great choice.
To charge an Apple Watch, you need to purchase the additional accessory called Power Dongle for Apple Watch. The dongle can then be plugged into the base/dock of the MagEZ Slider, but interestingly it can also be plugged into any USB-C outlet. That means you can charge your Apple Watch with this Power Dongle accessory, but you don’t need to carry the dock. As long as you have other power banks or wall chargers with a USB-C port, you can use it with the dongle to charge your Apple Watch.
The cap is also magnetized so you can attach the cap to the other end so you don’t lose it. A design very well thought out by the design team.
Finally, the MagEZ Slider has a fun factor that other desktop wireless chargers don’t. You can rotate the dock clockwise and counterclockwise. It will also make different clock sounds, which is fascinating and relieves stress.
Conclusion of the MagEZ Slider Review

MagEZ Slider is this compact, fun and versatile MagSafe wireless charger for charging your Apple devices simultaneously. On the desktop, you can get it to charge your MagSafe supported iPhone, Apple Watch, and also AirPods.
The part that charges your iPhone can be detached and carried on the go like a MagSafe wireless power bank. The power dongle for charging your Apple Watch can be detached and used with any USB-C power bank or charger. The back of the dock to charge your AirPods can also be used to charge any other Qi compatible device like my Jabra Elite 85t.
Overall, MagEZ Slider is a good-looking multi-device wireless charger (both MagSafe and Qi), and has a fun and stress-relieving factor at the same time. But its versatility and design are truly the stars of the show and deserve a spot on your desk.
