The Royal Family has issued a major snub to Prince Andrew after the monarchy made a ‘family decision’ to limit the disgraced Duke of York’s appearance on Garter Day in the UK.
Andrew was not pictured alongside other senior royals at one of the most colorful events on the royal calendar – after the Prince of Wales and the Duke of Cambridge reportedly lobbied the Queen for her participation.

The Queen had signaled her support for Andrew – rumored to be her favorite child – when she arrived with him for the Duke of Edinburgh’s memorial service in March.
But according to the sunPrince William may have issued a ‘him or me ultimatum’, ahead of the Garter Day service at St George’s Chapel.
Both William and Charles are said to have feared a public ‘backlash’ if the Duke of York was allowed to attend events.
“It was a decision taken by the household in the best interests of the family but also in the best interests of the Duke of York,” a source said. the sun.
Speaking ahead of the Garter Day ceremony, a Buckingham Palace spokesman confirmed: “The Duke of York will attend the Investiture and lunch today but will not be part of the procession or service.”
The Queen also did not take part in the procession.

Prince Harry ‘furious’
The latest royal break comes as Prince Harry was ‘furious’ at the treatment he and his wife, Meghan Markle, received during the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.

Meghan appeared to be the only member of the public turning in the opposite direction, as seen on the BBC‘s pictures.
