Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson’s tropical getaway to Tahiti

Kim Kardashian spent a sunny vacation in Tahiti with pete davidson before the pair find themselves at the center of a hoax aimed Down Under.

The couple enjoyed a getaway to a private beach and went kayaking in crystal clear waters before the SNL funnyman, 28, hopped on a plane to Australia to film his new movie Wizards! in Far North Queensland.

While some have speculated the vacation snaps were taken in Australia, it has since been confirmed that Kardashian, 41, hasn’t visited the country in years.

He comes after a coffee at queensland was exposed for lying about Kardashian visiting earlier this week with Davidson.

Matt Black, the manager of Botanica Cafe Bar Kitchen in Edge Hill, Cairns, claimed ABC Far North that the couple dined at the restaurant on Wednesday, sparking a media frenzy across Australia.

While the King of Staten Island star is in Australia filming Wizards!, his A-list girlfriend hasn’t joined him. She is still in Los Angeles with her children.

Daily Mail Australia was the first to sound the alarm over the possible hoax, highlighting how Kardashian was pictured in Los Angeles on Tuesday night – just hours before she was supposed to be seen turning brown at 11,000 km in Far North Queensland.

Mr Black spun an elaborate thread about Kardashian and Davidson’s security team who allegedly instructed cafe staff to place their phones on the counter for the duration of the couple’s date so no one could take their picture while they were having dinner.

“We had to put our phones on the counter,” he claimedadding that the security detail has also requested that their CCTV footage be kept private.

“It was just me and my barista, and to be honest he didn’t know who they were. He’s really out of place with that stuff.

Mr Black, however, stressed that the couple and those around them were “super cool and respectful” to all staff.

“They were very relaxed,” he said.

However, a rep for Davidson took down this fake account saying, “Pete is currently in production in Australia without Kim.”

A source close to Kardashian also confirmed that she hasn’t been to Australia in years.

The ABC first reported that Kardashian and Davidson dined at the restaurant on Wednesday.

But it soon became clear that it wasn’t right because she had been photographed stepping out of his $600,000 Lamborghini Urus in Los Angeles on Tuesday night.

Daily Mail Australia contacted the venue for comment on Friday morning, but our calls were not answered.

The cafe then posted a video on Instagram of TV crews gathering in the street outside, writing, “Chasing that scoop!”

On Monday, the Kardashian beauty mogul shared a gallery of racy snaps while vacationing with Pete on a secluded beach.

“Beach for 2,” her post was captioned on Instagram.

Several Australian fans commented on her post saying they were looking for the couple in tropical Queensland.

“My eyes are open for you in Cairns!” a fan wrote.

It is believed that the vacation photos were actually taken in Tahiti on an unspecified date.

The hoax sighting comes after Davidson was spotted exploring Cairns (for real) on Wednesday night and even stopped to take pictures with fans.

In a photo shared on Instagram, the New York native posed alongside a local at the Timezone video game arcade on Abbott Street.

Other fans claimed to have spotted the King of Staten Island star venturing to a casino that same night.

The Queensland tourist hotspot has recently become an A-list activity hub thanks to David Michôd’s new Wizards movie! be filmed there for the next three months.

The film also stars Franz Rogowski, Orlando Bloom and Naomi Scott.

Brad Pitt’s production company Plan B is backing the film and the production is expected to inject around $14.7 million into the Queensland economy.
