Kaley Cuoco and her second husband Karl Cook finalize their divorce after four years of marriage

Kaley Cuoco and her second husband Karl Cook are officially divorced after four years of marriage.

According to legal documents obtained by entertainment tonighttheir divorce was finalized on Monday when a judgment was filed in Los Angeles Superior Court.

By the explosionwho also obtained the documents, no further details of the settlement were disclosed.

In September 2021, the 36-year-old actress and the 31-year-old pro rider first announced their split in a statement to ET.

The former couple told the outlet: “Despite a deep love and respect for each other, we have come to realize that our current paths have taken us in opposite directions.

“We both shared a lot of our journey publicly, so while we would prefer to keep that aspect of our personal lives private, we wanted to be open in our truth together. There is neither anger nor animosity, quite the contrary.

Kaley and Karl added, “We have made this decision together out of tremendous respect and consideration for each other and ask that you do the same with the understanding that we will not be sharing any additional details or commenting further.”

The Big Bang Theory alum, who has been riding horses since she was a teenager, first met Cook at a horse show in 2016 where he was competing.

They immediately bonded over their love of horses and eventually married in June 2018 at a stable.

At the time, Kaley told Cosmopolitan she didn’t expect to take a second trip down the aisle after her first marriage to former professional tennis player Ryan Sweeting, 34, ended in 2015 after only 21 months of marriage.

“Honestly, I thought I wouldn’t get married again. My ex ruined that word for me,” she told the magazine.

“I married someone the first time around who completely changed. The person I ended up with wasn’t the person I originally met. And it wasn’t my fault, it wasn’t my fault. was his.

Prior to their wedding, Ryan and Kaley signed a prenup, although the retired professional athlete later filed for spousal support.

According to their divorce papers, Ryan’s request for spousal support was denied although Kaley was ordered to pay him a lump sum of $165,000 as well as up to $55,000 in legal fees. She also agreed to pay $195,000 to cover her sports training costs.

According to an insider who spoke to We WeeklyKaley and Karl had a “bulletproof prenup” before they got married.

Both parties have substantial financial assets, as the Emmy nominee is said to have a net worth of over $100 million and Karl earns significant sums from his pageant winnings, in addition to being the son of the billionaire founder of ‘Intuit, Scott Cook.

In an interview for Glamor magazine’s April cover, Kaley told the outlet that she was done with marriage.

‘I will never marry again. I would like to have a lasting relationship or partnership. But I will never marry again,” she said.

Despite her disillusionment with marriage, the performer recently found love again with Ozark actor Tom Pelphrey.

She kicked off their romance in early May with a slideshow of beloved snaps from a rustic getaway that she shared on her Instagram page.

“Life lately,” Kaley wrote in the caption. “The sun breaks through the clouds, rays of gold creep into my eyes and my heart, rays of yellow to break up the grey.”

On the same day, Tom, 39, also shared photos of the two taken during their trip, which he captioned with a romantic quote from a piece of literature called Noah’s Wall.

Later in May, the two made their official debut as a couple when they attended the Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony for The Flight Attendant executive producer Greg Berlanti, 50.
